Dr. Scappaticci is the originator and Dr. Mike Prebeg is the co-developer of Functional Integrated Therapy.^tm Dr. Scappaticci and Dr. Prebeg co-own Sports Therapy Services, the treatment centres where Functional Integrated Therapy^tm is practiced. Dr. Scappaticci is also the owner of the Scap Centres, (FIT treatment centres in the Niagara Region) S.C.A.P. Centre, and the founder of the FIT Institute (focusing on education and training in support of FIT) . As a much sought-after therapists, Dr Scappaticci and Dr. Mike Prebeg have achieved success by using FIT Functional Integrated Therapy^tm to manage recovery and performance optimization for top professional and amateur athletes from around the world including performers from the National Hockey League, the National Football League, the National Basketball Association, and the Canadian Football League as well as Olympic and World Championship track and field athletes.
